A friend put this problem to me: after a failed download of Adobe 7
(these people are not expert) printing from Outlook produced some
lines missing or broken while printing from Word remained perfect. The
O/S is XP Pro, the printer I think is an Epson Multi Function Device.

I have suggested installing a spare printer to see if the fault
disappears, proving that the fault lies with the previous printer, but
could it be a fault in the application or O/S?
