PSU Stuck at 8k RPM Tags: Power Supplies Speedfan Thermaltake Components Last response: August 25, 2006 7:26 PM in Components Share Yan August 24, 2006 1:39:28 PM 2 Days ago my PSu started making more noise than usual. Speed is stuck at 8036 according to SpeedFan, even though all my temps are low. The PSU is a ThermalTake W0100RU which is about 4 months old. Anyone knows what could cause this? I More about : psu stuck rpm Mondoman August 25, 2006 7:26:17 PM I assume that your PS fan speed is normally controlled by a temp sensor inside the PS. Sounds like that sensor has failed or become disconnected. You should be able to get it fixed/replaced under Thermaltake's warranty for the PS. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
