I ATTEMPTED TO INSTALL 2000 OVER ME AND BOY I AM STUCK, PC
KEEPS TELLING ME MY "NTLDR" IS MISSING WHAT AM I TO DO
? I ATTEMPTED TO DO THE MICROSOFT ARTICLE 255220 AND WILL
MOT WORK. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE?

Please don't type in all caps - it's hard to read and is considered
'shouting'. :)

Sounds like you've got a mess indeed - sorry to hear it. Did you back up
your data first? This is an important thing to do before any OS upgrade (and
is good to do regularly anyway). Note - there's no supported upgrade path
from WinME to Win2k - see

If you have backed up your data, you can boot from the Win2k CD and choose a
fresh install (which means you can delete the existing partition, create a
new one, format it, and do a clean vanilla install of Win2k). You will need
to restore your data and reinstall your programs afterwards (as well as run
Windows Update to get all the critical patches).

If you haven't backed up your data, maybe provide more info about how you
did the upgrade....hopefully your data isn't lost.
