None of the above.
I am not sure if there are news blackouts or some sot. The last time I had read about the 7200.10 and 7200.11 problem was all about 1TB and above.
They said 320gb 7200.11 are not affected with bug, well I can believe it was not affected, but however, it was failing...
I have;
1. 4pcs 320gb Barracuda, all dropping like dead flies for the past 5 months. The last one I had is still running, but now it is already making some signs of the inevitable.
2. 2pcs 1TB, both already dead.
Bought another Seagate, this time its 7200.12, 2 pcs 640gb, one of the disk failed after 3 weeks (cannot be detected by the BIOS)
Switched to Western Digital, the first one I had was 2 years ago, 80gb IDE, and its still running. Bought 2x 74GB raptor (a year ago), still running.
Now I am buying the Caviar black and green, with 1 Terabyte...
I am done with Seagate.
