The only way I know to completely remove it is to do a hard-reset of
the device. This will kill everything though.
I thought (dangerous) that there was an application out there that
would do this for you but I've spent the last 1/2 hour trying to find
it with no success. Hopefully someone else remember....

if you have Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion or trial versions of either
of these programs, they have built into them simple functions to delete
all of your contacts or calendar entries.
