We are unable to open certain Word/Excel files from our WIndows2003SBS server. We get the error message: "user does not have access priviliges." I reset the user security at the folder level and had it propagate down. Still can't open the files. THen I noticed that these files are missing the "security" tab from properties, and also they have no owner. I tried to reset the owner at the folder level, and on the server I can open the file. But from a client computer, I still can't see the owner, nor can I open the file. Any suggestions?
