Well, you can only use 1.575V as maximum if you want to run it long-term.
Unless you're aiming for a Bungholiomark.
Any DDR2-800 rated 4-4-4-12 will get you 500Mhz easily.
Getting 500Mhz isn't as simple as Anandtech portraits. To be abosolutely sure you have to replace the thermal pad with paste, remove the ASUS logo plate on NB&SB heatsink then add a 40mm fan.
And to have any voltage beyond 1.45V stable you have to perform a simple droop mod shown at VR-Zone.
Also getting 4Ghz isn't just about keeping temperature cool, you have to get it below a certain level before 4Ghz will work stably.
4Ghz is possible, but only under careful guidance.
if i run it at 1.6 will cpu last 1-2 years ?
i will AS5 northbridge , dont think i can fit fans on the northbridge as the noctua overhangs and fan be too high, if i can i reckon i can raise the nb voltage too if it take it
is this absolutely droop necessary to take it over 1.45 im sure i seen people selecting 1.5 from the off with no mods
im crap at soldering dont trust myself, i see you can do a pencil mod on the p5w dh , where are the mods located to do on the p5b?
i like to do the vmch mod thats the northbridge, if i can really cool it good
