I'm waiting for an e-mail reply from telstra on this one.

I am about to buy an I-mate PDA2k EVDO. I want to know if I can get on a PC
PACK timed data plan probably $49 a month for 20 hours access AND a voice
mail plan as well porting my current phone number across from my current rip
off plan.

I heard from someone the other day that they dont allow it, which I thought
was pretty stupid as it defeats the purpose of having a pocket pc
phone...LOL

I pay $5 per month for data calls in advance, I am not sure exaclty what
this means or what it is called as I don't look that hard though it is
cheaper than paying for data as you go.

If you subscribed to the "PC Pack" for your PDA2k I-Mate EVDO Pocket PC, you
could only receive the default voice rate. Only if you subscribed to the
"Data Pack" could you select an eligible voice plan.

Unfortunately PC Packs are not compatible with any other voice plans and you
must select the default voice rate.

I have provided below an outline of the Default Voice Rate charges:

Destination Rates

- Calls to a fixed or mobile number $0.25 on connection

$0.425 per 30 sec block

- Call connection charge for IDD call $0.44

- SMS $0.25 per SMS

- Additional surcharge for calls to 1800, $0.11 per 30 second block
1900,0145, IDD,

Operator Assisted National

and or part thereof Operator Assisted

International Calls

Thats the GPRS Bundles $5 for 250kb, so you dont have a session charge on
gprs, CDMA 1x/EVDO has the same offer but $5 for 1mb, but Hulkster is
refering to the $29/$49/$99 hour access bundles.. :)

Voice mail plan? Whats that?

When you are on the PC Pack you have a default voice plan, calls charged at
default voice rates. Dont ask me what the rates are, because I dunno
