I got a problem with a new comp im building. Problem is my psu's main power cable for the motherboard is 20 pin but mother board is 24 pin. When i start the comp it restarts in middle of Windows loading, but works in safe mode. Im just asking if a 20 to 24 pin adapter would fix this prob? Im really worried that i bought something defective or i screwed something up =( plx help

yes, it will. I had the same problem. I went up a place called maplin (in the UK) and got a 20pin to 24pin adapter. It cost me £2.50 LOL. Oh year and btw i shouldnt really try connecting a 20pin to a 24 pin socket on ya mobo. My mate did this and buggered his comp! Defo worth the adapter but if you have the money go get a new PSU :) As i said before the adapter will fix it :)
