Sorry if this is the wrong section, but I can't find a place more fitting.
Anyway,
I have this problem. I dropped my laptop, and on the right side (occupying about 1/4th of the space of my monitor) I see these lines that are messed up. I tried restarting my computer, turning it off, I even hit my computer 
to try to save it, but to no avail. And, the worst part is, it gets worse by the hour. Beside it, there is a dark part of the screen, and then everything is fine. I think it is a chip problem, but I really don't have the money. My computer was a 1500 dollar computer, my monitor is a beautiful flatscreen. I can promise you I tried everything I could, and my parents are gonna kill me if this is not fixed soon.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
