Debian's installer can be a little "fiddly" but give me apt-get any day of the week

Currently using SuSE 10.0, was thinking about continuing with 10.1 x86-64 version when i get my AM2 going.
But i've convinced myself (with my boss's help) to try Gentoo. Once the pain of installation is over, i may even like it more.

Fedora Core 5 on my 32 bit file server and the 64 bit version on my primary PC dual booting with Windows XP. I use Windows for Quicken, Picasa and games but spend 95% of my time on Linux. I had Xawtv working on a prior 32 bit release of Fedora, but lost it on Fedora 5 32 bit - need to spend sometime that I don't have on getting it to work again. Getting any TV software to work on 64 bit Linux is probably hopeless at this point.
