one of our server has kept the DFS link even after the
Replica has being removed, the above knowledge article
refers to a fix available from microsoft.

Could someone be kind enough to forward me the hotfix to
correct this problem

call them & tell them upfront you're calling about a specific hotfix. You
don't get charged for them in any event, & if you tell them upfront they
won't even ask for credit card info.

and seriously, would you want a file from a stranger with all the spyware,
adware, trojans, & worms out there today? I created a google acct. for
using in newsgroups (you must give a real e-mail) and within less than a
day, I had 6 viruses in that e-mail, all claiming to be from various
Microsoft support units with one critical update or another.
