I'm upgrading my Hackintosh OSX from 10.6.7 to Mountion lion. I bought a 2T IOmega USB drive and did a full backup of the drive.

I'd like to do another separate backup on a separate partition of the same drive rather than buy another drive.

I used Partition Magic a long time ago and see that it is no longer supported.

Is there any program out there that will allow me to resize this partition and create a new one WITHOUT killing the current backup.

I'm no expert on OSX, so maybe there's something already built into the system.
