2,5 year ago i build this pc
AMD sempron 2600+
MSI KT6V
1GB pc3200
Radeon 9600XT AGP
now it keeps on crashing and its getting slow and i want to trash it. Only im low on money so i thought the D805 would be a good solution.(?) Overclocking it to like 3,6 -3,8 Ghz.
Now i would like to point out im low on cash lol so ive found this motherboard.
http://nl.asus.com/products4.aspx? [...] odelmenu=1 It's got DDR and DDR2 both dual channel and PCI-E and AGP8x. This would mean i can use my old stuff and upgrade when ive got the money. But my question is: Can this motherboard take on the overclock? Or can i just better save some money till i can also buy new memory and a videocard for it?
On the article about overclockin the 805 they use the Zalman CNPS 9500. Are there any other good coolers except watercooling?
I didnt know you could overclock the 915 that bad as well. Does it work the same as with the 805? I can get the D805 for €77 and the D915 for €135 its almost double the money. Is it really worth it? And the motherboard i showed is it good enough?
Thnx for the cooler tips!
