Hey guys, check it here :wink: : http://www.wiredzone.com/xq/asp/ic.10017267/qx/itemdesc.htm.

I have one. It's being shipped to me, and should be here today. Once it arrives, I can post a picture or something of it.

But yes, it's true. The G965s are around, and maybe even available for purchase. Last time I checked it wasn't for sale.

Oh, it's the Intel® Desktop Board DG965RYCK.

I see The Egg is selling them now:

Hi;
How will you test it to see if it's really DirectX 10 capable? I guest you will have to wait until Windows Vista is released... :wink:

I'm not too concerned about DX10 right now. Nothing in Vista or even Cyrsis(?) is something I need to "have" right now.

The fact that DX10 will arrive when Vista actually releases, is something that won't factor into my purchases right now.

True, but for someone who want to spend more than 400$ on those new video cards...well they might need to think again, don't you think so?

I wouldn't recommend anyone buy any video card for that much, unless they just don't care about spending the cash.

I have a simple 7600GT that runs my games at a good enough framerate for me. I don't need all the eye candy turned on, since I don't play to sight see the nice stuff around.

If anyone wants to spend that much on video cards, more power to them. I would suggest that they hold off a huge video card purchase until DX10, since their $400+ purchase might not be compatible with DX10.

Well, my motherboard finally showed up...thanks alot UPS for the "speedy" delivery. Sheesh.

I will have to install it and use my existing P4 chip, and not my 840EE, since I don't believe this board can use the EE CPU.

It will also give me a chance to test the memory I have now, and see if it will run with this board.
