opterons with a8n-e, 1005 bios good?

does anyone know if the 1005 bios will support an opty? im too lazy to flash bios.

I don't see the info at that address. Do you have a dirrect link?

I always use Optrons rather than the desktop versions and have never had to do any bios update with either Ausus or DFI MB's just becuase the CPU had Optron for a name.

You don't even need a floppy. With the Asus Update util, you can do it from Windows. I hope a couple of clicks to ensure you have the newest bois isn't too much for you.
