The tv tuner and shipping bring it above 500, but that was my (loose) budget. Are there any compatability issues? Any reccomendations?

Thanks a lot in advance.

What is the computer going to be used for?
August 29, 2006 4:00:12 PM

I will be using it mainly for day to day stuff. I want it to reboot, open photos, etc. quickly and be upgradeable in the future. I went with ddr2, am2 socket and no vga port so it would be good for upgrading in the future. I do play games every once in a while but usually ones from 2-3 years ago. I also run some computer intensive matlab stuff every once in a while.

Dear Lord Almighty:

We in this day and time are subject to the brutal and harsh world of nub postings on window shopping sprees at Newegg. Lord, in my prayer, I ask you to deliver me and the others from these czarnistic postings of nub commentors. Lord, in your wisdom and guidance, we believe in your existence and know as we mature in your words in due time your powers will alievate these vial, childish, "please-critic-my-system" posts. Always and forever myself and many alike represent you in the fight against knob postings.

Respectfully yours,
SA

That was the strangest reply I've ever received. And one of the least helpful.

I can understand why your getting a PSU with the case since your on a budget, but I would double check the ratings on that PSU. NZXT makes some okay PSU's, but nothing stellar, although I don't see your system using much resources anyways.

You might pay just a tad bit more and get a slightly better video card, maybe one of the new ATI's that just got released...
