Hey man, seems like no-one wants to help out. Probably bcuz everyone is asking this... but... I have an E6300(cuz it will easily oc to an E6400) and I don't need anymore speed than that. I've also purchased the ECS P695 motherboard for only $99. There is a performance difference with the chipsets and it pretty much goes: the higher the number the better. 945 is for basic usage, while 975x is for gaming. The 965 came out with the new Conroe chips and in my opioin will probably work best. BUT, if you can wait (and want to do a lot of gaming) the new nVidia SLI boards should be coming out pretty soon. They will be around your price range. Check out Tom's CPU charts for good cpu benches. Good luck!

You ordered 2 E6600 and 2 GA-965-Q6?? I was contemplating on buying that board, from Gigabyte right? How does your system run? Fast? What system did you have before the E6600? How do they compare? I'm not done with mine yet, I just ordered the last parts for mine today, 1gb (2x512) of Geil Ultra DDR2-800 and a BFG 7600GT... I can't wait!! I'm currenly running a 3ghz P4 Northwood on an MSI 865PE mobo with 1 gb ram and a 6200 agp... I can't wait to "feel" the difference!! Do you have any benchmarks on your system? Thanks!
