Windows 7 screensavers problem

The screen saver for Win 7 HP on my DELL Laptop doesn't get activated. Even the dell tech support teacm tried to activate it remotely, but didn't succeed. Can anyone help me?thanks

When you open the screen saver options in the control panel, there is a " Change Power Settings" link over there - go to that link : Change it to "Balanced". Sometimes on high performance screen savers give problems
