having problems with my new transcend jetflash

i just now bought a transcend jetflash v30 2Gb and i copied some files onto it from my friends' computer (i first used it on my friends' computer just after buying)

but now when i just plugged it to my computer . my computer just hangs no response . even i am unable to bring up task manager

only thing i could do was pressing reset button to restart the system


when i connect the jetflash pendrive before switching on the computer
it won't boot into windows it just hangs at some point


please help

i have tried using it on my others friends' system and it works there too without any problems
but not with mine

Did you try different USB ports?

yes i did try 3 different usb ports in none of them it worked
i would try reinstalling the usb driver and let you know what happens

i did try to install usb drivers in the cd that came with the pendrive.it says that it's only for win98.i even downloaded drivers from certain websites they don't seem to work.

could you plz suggest a good way to reinstall the usb drivers
