...installed the drive into my case, connected the SATA cables, and hit the power button. I formatted the system into NTFS, but when I started transferring files in there, I keep getting this message:
[code:1:a60d0b7102]Windows was unable to save all the data for the file <filepath>/<file>. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try..."[/code:1:a60d0b7102]
Ever since that message comes up, Windows keeps harrassing me to a point where I can't even shut the computer down until it finishes telling me that the files are messed up and gone (which is never).
Is this a sign of a DOA or is there something I can do about the RAID setup? Here's a link to my computer specs:
I'm really getting frustrated. I checked all the cables and everything, and because I "thought" the HD was working at one point, I lost nearly half my data.
