In recovery console, I am on the second line of the corrupt registry commands
and I get a message "the system cannot find the file specified". What does
this mean?
Any help is appreciated...

Hi,

Those are just copying the old corrupted files to a temp directory, they
aren't critical. Make sure you get the names and spacing correct.
