...well I will leave the expletives out.

Just got a new system

P5B deluze mobo
Core 2 Duo E6700
2 GB Corsair 677MHz Dual Channel
XTX 7950 GX2
Xfi Platinum

From day 2, the GPU was running at 78-85 celcius.....all I did was turn it on. After several safety shutdowns by my system I decided to take a look inside. I found that my sound card was way too close to my GPUs heat sink imo. So Imoved my XFi and left the side of the case off, with a house fan blowing air on it until I get new GPU cooling.

Was it a poor Case selection (Masker Red), or is it the fact that I am running WoW on Dual displays at max settings for 5 hours? I would rather not have to leave my case open, and if I don't have to spend on a new GPU cooler, then I wont.

WoW - even at ungodly resolutions - should be about as taxing on a 7950 as a little league pitcher on Barry Bonds. So I don't think that's the problem.
