CPU - E6600
HSF - Scythe Ninja Plus (with 120mm fan)
MOBO - P5W DH Deluxe (intel 975x)
GFX - HIS ATI Radeon X1800 GTO ICEQ3 (to be flashed to a X1800XT)
PSU - Seasonic S12-600W
HD - Hitachi T7K250
CASE - Jeantech Phong II

All the above have already been ordered and are making their way towards me now. They are exactly what I need from this machine; the GFX are plenty for me, I only play WoWarcraft and the CPU needed for Vid/DVD encoding.

I went for the mobo as it will allow me for X-Fire sometime in the future.

Only component missing is the RAM, and thats why im posting here, I need a little help choosing.
I know I want 2x1Gb. I know I want 800mhz
I read Wusy's post about C2D OC'ing and the recomendation for "DDR2-800 4-4-4-xx good for 500Mhz+"

I am also worried about reports of ASUS boards being picky about RAM makes.

Picking from a good UK supplier I have found the following options:
($ included for easy reading)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Corsair_XMS2_Memory.html
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB) (MY-092-CS)
£152.73 ($290.72)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/GSkill_Memory.html
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 PK PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400CL4D-2GBPK) (MY-017-GS)
£146.86 ($279.54)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Geil_DDR2_Memory.html
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC) (MY-058-GL)
£158.57 ($301.83)

Many thanks,
Ktaan

I picked up some Patriot RAM for my Asus P5W DH deluxe. I've never tried patriot RAM before and don't even know who supplies their chips -- it'll be a new adventure for me. Almost went with OCZ.

The Patriot model: PDC22G8000 +XBLK
2GB PC2 - 5300 (3-3-3), PC2 8000 (4-4-4)

-- claim to be able to run at 2.4v

I'll find out this weekend.

I wanted this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=20-145-033

But sells very quickly and I missed my auto-notify. Oh well.
