Hi all. This has me confused, so I thought I would post here.
My brother and I were going to see if we could find a difference between DDR2 RAM and regular DDR, since our machines are nearly identical besides that. I got a baseline run to compare my overclocking results with, it was okay.

Anyway, I turned up the FSB and voltages with AI Booster on my ASUS board. AI Booster and PC Probe reported ~2640MHz @ 1.50V, RAM at 2.0V. Everything seemed to be working fine. My times were like 2 seconds slower. I increased it even more to a little higher than 2700MHz. A little slower still. Anyone know what's going on? Could my RAM be giving up? I have had OC stability problems in games, if that may help come to a conclusion.

Should I Underclock?

Yeah, it is some sort of stability problem since you overclocked you pc and then got a lower result instead. Try overclocking the cpu and underclocking the ram with tighter timings.
