so i built a new rig for myself, but when i power it up, it doesn't give me the <f12> boot menu on the post screen. it reads the processor and the memory fine, but it only gives me the <del>setup and the <f9>recovery options. when i do press <del>, at the bottom of the screen it says "prepare to setup" and just freezes. when i press <f9>, nothing happens. this is my first gigabyte motherboard (i usually buy asus), so i don't really know what to do next. can someone help me out?

here's my setup:

gigabyte 865g chipset ga-8i865gme-775 motherboard
intel 3.2 processor
1 gig pc3200 ram
200 gig western digital hd
all-in-wonder x800 xt
soundblaster audigy2 zs platinum
