i believe that NTldr is off sector 0, or the 1st
allocation table - Error - "NTLDR is Missing"

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;320397

I have been trying to find a way to get the 'Bcupdate2
utility'- No luck !

dual boot -
C:\WIN98 (BOOT)
D:\W2K
E:\W2K (TEST)

I created a w2k Boot Disk and can boot off this fine -
i did try copying NTLDR from W2K CD /I386 to no avail.

ERD's and Recovery seems no go (boot environmet , etc) -
any thoughts how I can Boot from C anymore ??

Thanks,
Bruce

How have you been trying? The article tells you to contact Microsoft Product
Support Services to obtain the Bcupdate2 utility

Follow the steps in the article to obtain the free fix. OEM makes no
difference.

Hi, Jeff.

I don't know anything about the problem, but the KB article was cited in
Bruce's original post:
