Hi everyone,
I need help!
On our Windows 2000 SP4 file server, under computer
management, Shared Folders, Sessions
I see tons of open sessions connection from many different
user in my domain.
Look like when user logon and when they log off, their
sessions turned to an idle state and sit there until the
server reboot to clear it
Is anyone know any hotfix that I can apply to fix this
problem?
Please advice,
Thanks,
Lele

There are settings in the user's profile in Active Directory that control
this. Right-click a User and go to Properties. On the Session tab, you will
see several settings for dealing with disconntected sessions. The defaults
are to Never disconnect, end, etc. I'm sure someone here knows how to set
the defaults for new users and/or globally set these options for all users
(a policy setting I imagine).
