I've just finished building my first computer (almost, I still need to tidy up the cables). Installed PC Probe II and got some warnings about the motherboard temp being too high (45°C). The computer is not overclocked yet but I'd like to speed it up some, but I'm worried about that warning. Is that temp really too hot for my board? Will overclocking the FSB push it up even higher?

45 really isn't that hot... I'd go into the Probe software and look for limit settings so the message will stop. If there isn't a way to turn it off, I'd ignore it.

Overclocking will up the board temp some so make sure you have good case ventillation and you'll be fine. Are you using a CPU HS/Fan that blows some air on the radiator and downwards towards the lower heatsinks?
