Does anyone know if there are printing logs that are stored on Windows 2000
server with service packs or a 3rd party software? I what to see what a
past employee had printed off of our server for a HP IP printer that was
shared off the server. I want to go back as far as a couple of months. I
saw the logs in event viewer ,but they only go back a couple of weeks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance.

If the information only goes back a few weeks, then the log file has
scrolled and the old information will only be available if you do a restore
of the logs onto an alternate server. Try increasing the maximum size of
the log file, or creating a scheduled job to dump the log file info on a
regular basis.

Some tools to help you in this include EventComb:

And the Microsoft Log Parser:
