Well I have another post asking about my laptop being broke but I thought I'd make a new post making sure I got the specs right.

After my laptop hit the fan I wanted to fix my old main computer....
It used to have an Epox 8K5A3+ motherboard with all sorts of fancy raid and neat stuff on it and a XP2000 Processor.

Well I wanted to buy one again because I knew it worked and still have money because I'm not currently well funded atm.

But they don't sell that board anymore, so I ended up ordering a Epox 8K9A3+ and a ATHLON XP 2700+ Socket A Processor.

I checked the specs and everything seems to be in good order hopefully I can boot up my 2 raid-0 drives since the motherboard comes with the same highpoint chipset controllor as my 8k5a3 did.

Just wanted to double check and wondered what you guys thought?

Good luck with that... Its usually hit or miss with Raid controllers...

You may just have to reinstall windows anyhow do to a massive hardware change like that.
