I have a home network and i was wondering if it is possible to use a scanner on one computer but also access it on the other. Sort of like print sharing.
Thanks,
Dave

My Epson scanner came with software to do that; yours might not have such software. I don't know for sure, but I've heard of people being able to share scanners in Windows, much like you'd share a printer.

Is your Epson scanner new and who makes the software? That pretty cool!!! I have an older umax and it is connected by an usb port. How do i communicate my computer with the other computer which has the scanner hooked up to it?
Thanks,
Dave

Check your installation disk for the networking software for the Umax. I shared my Vista-S6E on the network and it worked great.
