sync on public computer without activesync

I replied to your post on the PocketPC Magzine forums as well on this.

You will have to have some type of sync software installed in order to
establish the connection to Avantgo. There may be a way around this via a
wifi card installed on your ipaq directly but since I don't use Avantgo, I'm
not sure if that is possible.

The latest version of Avantgo works great on any wireless connection that
lets you browse the web. I'm currently syncing Avantgo in the background
while posting this on a public wifi connection with my iPaq 3955. Avantgo
also updates individual pages without having to sync all.
