Asus Perfect Bios Settings!

Hi Guyz

I'm the owner of a P5W DH Deluxe and I would like to know if there is a proper guide for a perfect BIOS setup. So something which explains all settings and recomends best settings.

I also have an issue with this board which I think has something to do with the BIOS. During the POST process just before my pc is detecting the DVD-ROM and drives it hangs for about 10-15 sec same with a friends pc who has the same motherboard and settings. Any idea how I can save time with this detection?

Assuming you dont need to boot from the Jmicron PATA controller (the 40 pin connector at the bottom of the board) then disable the Jmicron boot rom.

Disable the LAN boot roms.

Hibernate rather than shut down (can be done with the remote control).

Thats about all that pops into my head
