SSD - The Performance Upgrade of the Future
from the Newegg customer rating statistics, it was close to a perfect bell-shaped curve, skewed towards the 5 star "love the card" rating. then - the thing disappears. was it causing RMA headaches for eVGA, maybe related to the slight OC the card had ?
dont know for sure my brother bought one and within a week it seems to have become exctinct.
on the surface, it doesn't make any sense. people are raving about it well maybe 10% as much as they were raving about the Raptors, people like 'em. and they stop making it ? ! i mean, this is Capitalism ! with a little product differentiation, as they call it in economics classes, thrown in for good measure. i wonder if they get better yield on the plain vanilla 7600 GT and that's why they stopped making the CO. better yield approx. equals more profits ? or - the RAM they needed for overclocking it got more expensive ? I WANT TO UNDERSTAND 8O
