from the Newegg customer rating statistics, it was close to a perfect bell-shaped curve, skewed towards the 5 star "love the card" rating.

then - the thing disappears.

was it causing RMA headaches for eVGA, maybe related to the slight OC the card had ?

on the surface, it doesn't make any sense. people are raving about it well maybe 10% as much as they were raving about the Raptors, people like 'em.

and they stop making it ? !

i mean, this is Capitalism !

with a little product differentiation, as they call it in economics classes, thrown in for good measure.

i wonder if they get better yield on the plain vanilla 7600 GT and that's why they stopped making the CO. better yield approx. equals more profits ?

or - the RAM they needed for overclocking it got more expensive ?

I WANT TO UNDERSTAND 8O
