I am running an E6600 with a scythe ninja plus. I have the asus p52dh deluxe motherboard, and an antec p180b case.
I have it overclocked at 3.4 ghz right now (378 fsb) and it seems to be pretty stable. I'm using the 1.4125 vcore setting, and besides changing my ram timings to 4/4/4/12 and matching it's speed to my fsb the rest of the bios settings are unchanged.
My idle temps are 44c using core temp (I got rid of the asus programs, they were being a pain in the butt). When I run dual torture tests in prime 95 (speedfan shows 100% usage on both cpus) it gets up to about 56c after awhile and sits around there. Room temp is about 76F always.
Do these temperatures sound alright? I am pretty happy with the overclock speed wise, but I want this computer to be stable for 24/7 usage for at least a few years.
Thanks
