Does anyone know if you can purchase a wireless mouse and keyboard combo, were you can just plug the wireless receiver into the usb port. (like what you would buy for a laptop)
Instead of having to plug the wire into the computer then have the 5 foot cable connecting to the wireless receiver.

I must warn that using a Bluetooth wireless setup will not let you use the keyboard or mouse until you are in windows....so things like F2 or DEL to setup your bios, or F8 to choose boot options must be done by a wired or RF setup.

Microsoft makes bluetooth keyboards that just use a USB bluetooth plug with no wires. Logitech also makes some bluetooth combos the same way.

(This one comes with a recharging stand for the mouse)

DO NOT REPEAT!!! DO NOT buy a bluetooth keyboard and/or mouse, i got a mx5000 and mx1000 keyboard and mouse and there so crap theres lag between keypress's and the keyboard always loses range and the software just CRASH CRASH and CRASH, worst 300aud i ever spent

I'd rather not mix bluetooth with my computer... either way, if you get a small usb receiver, your sacrificing range, response time, yadda yadda yadda. Just stick with the good old receiver at the end of a 5 foot wire... and hide it somewhere.

If you want a good keyboard and mouse though, check out Microsofts new ultimate keyboard.
