I need to update the BIOS on this board as i've ordered an X2 4800 which is not supported by the BIOS the board shipped with, but have a problem with Asus Updater. When I try to install it I get a pop-up message headed ASUS BIOSINFO.DLL which reads 'unable to create NT driver service for BS_DEF.DLL'. This is followed by a WARNING pop-up that reads 'No Asus motherboard, Installation will now be aborted'.
I built the system 6 months back and I have had no probs so far.
Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be and how to rectify it??
