partition

i have a 600G hard drive and wish to create partitions on windows 2000
server or 2003 server.

Any consideration to be taken care when creating between primary or
extended?

i know there is limited number of primary partition can be created in a
system.

should i make use of all primary partition first before creating extended
partition?

you can have 4 primary's or 3 primary's with an extended partition with
logical drives.

The choice comes down to how many partitions you want on this drive.
