Hi!
I was wondering that if a host, e.g., a PC or STB or other user multi-media
device in an end-user home network is a memebr of multiple VLANs, will
it require multiple IP interfaces, one for each VLAN to which the host is a
member? How is this then implemented? with multiple physical
interfaces i.e., multiple PHY, MAC and IP interfaces or can one use virtual
IP interfaces and same NIC? Does anyone know how virtual Interfaces
work? ommunication between the different interfaces of the device does it
have to go thru a Router?
