Hello, i getting this computer built and this is first real gaming pc. So please tell me if you guys find any flaws or adjustsments that I should make. I will be overclocking this system up to 5 - 10%, and I will be doing a decent amont of gaming. For now I am only looking for the core parts that I need. I will be getting a fancy mouse, keyboard, speakers later, not at the current movement. My Budget is around 1700 USD.

Processor-Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13GHz Dual (2MB),1066MHz,S775,65W
Processor Fan-Zalman CNPS9500 LED cooler
RAM-CORSAIR XMS2 2GB caste 5
Case-COOLER MASTER Centurion 534 RC-534-KKN1-GP Black (might go with me P180, not sure)
PSU-Antec 550W TruePowerII ATX12V V2.0 Power Supply
Case Fan- Antec SmartFan 80mm Case Fan
Floppy-3.5" Floppy Drive
Hardrive-Seagate 250GB SATA, 7200rpm, 16MB cache
Soundcard- Ac 97' onboard or Audigy 2 ZS 7.1
GPU- 256MB Radeon X1800 XT DDR PCI Express, TV Out & DVI (might get the x1900xt 256 mb version when it is available)
Drive-NEC 3550A Dual 16x DVD+RW/-RW/CD-RW (48x/32x/48x),16x DVD
OS- MS Windows XP Home Edition CD (full version)

The 1900XT 512MB should not be that much more and is an excellent card. You can go down to a 6300 and save some money and not lose anything.

huh? 6300? I would rather stay with a x1800xt.

shadowduck is telling the OP to upgrade the GPU to the 1900XT 512MB and downgrade the CPU to the E6300, as the 6400 grants limited increase in performance for a seemingly larger increase in cost.

Oh lol sry, my bad. I see what you saying, i will think about it. Thx for the advice.

Drop to the E6300 like shadowduck suggested and then drop the Zalman Cooler altogether. Since you're only overclocking by no more than 10%, you won't need it.
