Hi,

Environment :
Desktop PC : WINXP SP2
MS Money2005 Version 14.0.120.1105 (English Intl)
ActiveSync 3.7.1

PDA : AXIM X50V (VGA)
Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition V4.21.1088
Enough free space in RAM / SDCArd

Problem/Question :
Activesync is active.
I can install anything I like on the PDA except Microsoft Money 2005
for Windows Mobile-based Pocket PC (mnyppc05.exe)
I even unzipped this program and ran Setup.exe directly.
Looking in the Task Manager it sits there and just does nothing at
all.

Anybody a solution, hint, clue???

In other posts I have read that it must be installed into main memory. Don't
know if this will help or not.

I was unable to get mnyppc05 to properly load. That is, I downloaded and
ran the program, but while it would remain visible in the desktop's Task
Manager (and cause problems on shutdown) it never transferred anything
to my iQue M5. Today, I was trying to remove the program but couldn't
find it listed under the Control Panel|Add or remove Programs. So I
again went to the Task Manager and forced it to close - at which point,
it began to load! After that, I now have the program on my iQue M5, and
it is correctly synchronizing through MS ActiveSynch.

P.S.: At the tail end of the install I got a message on the iQue
telling me that the program had been written for a previous version of
the operating system and "might not display correctly", but I've
experienced no problems. The program synchronizes automatically with
new transactions entered on my desktop. So far I have only used the
iQue as a display for the data - I haven't tried entering any. Still,
it's a handy way to check balances and recent transactions.
