I indexed a group of folders and subfolders, after creating a catalog
covering only the root folder/directory.

Using Index Service query form (both basic and advanced) returns no
documents, ever.

Checking the list of unindexed documents returns a document count equal to
the number of documents for the folders/subfolders as returned by
Properties.

However, the Indexing Service display shows a "Total Docs" somewhat greater
than the number of documents in the folder tree.

I am running as Administrator. Sharing is not allowed, but Security allows
everything.

I have no Exclusions in the directory list.

Searching for "readme.txt" which exists in a folder, I used string "readme".

Any suggestions? TIA
