Hello people, just want to make sure a system im building is all compatiable before i go ahead and build. could someone please tell me if this graphics card which is a ddr3 card
There's no issue. The RAM on the video card is GDDR3, and is used exclusively by the GPU. THe DDR2 that comes with the motherboard is system memory, and goes in the slots on the motherboard.
The point is that the type of memory used on the video card is completely seperate from the main memory, and shouldn't cause compatability issues with each other.
The DDR2 is the compatible RAM for the PC, the GDDR3 is the RAM that comes with the card, not even related.
As long as u buy a PCI-Express x16 graphics card, it will be fine, nothing else to worry abt.
