Cd rom driver not installed in Windows 7

Hi

How can I install the required driver without reinstalling windows 7 ?

What is the problem, specifically? Does your drive not appear in Windows? Have you checked BIOS to make sure it is detected?

Go to start menu > right click on "computer" > properties > device manager > DVD/CD-ROM Drives

find your CD drive, right click it, click "update driver software".

If it says that the best driver is already installed, then go to "computer", press "alt" once on your keyboard, then go to the tools menu then to "folder options".

go to "view" tab, then uncheck "Hide empty drives in the computer folder"

It should appear now.
