Hi everyone,

About 3 weeks ago I finished assembling my new PC, but I'm starting to get really annoyed with the Windows 7 Control Panel. For some reason I can't access a lot of options in the Control Panel. For example, I have no access to the Experience Index or the sleep-mode settings. More than 50% of the options are not accessible!

The weird thing is that the "links" to those pages just don't do anything when I click on them, nothing happens at all. No error message or slight delay, it just acts like nothing was clicked when I click on the link.

Does anyone know this problem and possible have a solution?

This is the PC I'm using:

Running Windows 7 Ultimate EN OEM.

Thanks in advance!

The only thing that I can think of right now would be to change the view. If you change the view to regular icons, you have to double click to get into them. Give that a whorl.

It worked when I set it to icons, but there are still sub-items when I click on the items that are not accessible :-(.
