hi everybody, for a file server project, we need change the permissions of
the users, we need give creation, rename but nO DELETE files or folders, How
do yo do it?

Hi, i test that and I can create a folder, but i cann't rename this
folder(sorry for my bad english)

the permissions for this folder are only for : administrator of the
server(Full control), me(read & execute,list folder contents, read,write) and
the system(full control).

hm, I suppose you coudl give modify permissions to "this folder only" and
read write to "sub folders and files only"
You'll need to go into advanced permissions to set them.

hi
i you can rename a folder it’s as same as deleting the folder and
creating the other with the same name
so if you want to give rights to the users to write and modify that
folder you can not restrict them to delete the folder
