I have a Seagate 5GB microdrive in my Toshiba e750. It works great except
that music played in WMP skip. When I play real audio files they are fine.
But MP3s or WMAs skip in WMP. If I copy them to the SD they work fine. Is
there a solution?

Sure - check out one of several mp3 players that have buffering designed
for microdrives. Mortplayer, for example, and the price is right - free.

Save them on SD?

It may be the data rate that the card supplies/your pda can manage, but
it would do no harm defragmenting the microdrive as it uses physical
movement to read the files, head movement, spin up times etc that
aren't relevant on a memory chip card. You don't say what the bitrate
for the files are, try converting to a lower rate so you don't need to
transfer as much data per second. See if the music quality is
acceptable to you.
