I am looking to get a flat panel monitor and I am a little confused about response times. I know I want a LCD with quicker than 8ms response time, but I thought I remembered hearing that the 2ms have troubles with ghosting or something.
I am unsure if it was ghosting exactly, but may have been that they play video great and games bad, or games great and videos bad, but I want one that can perform well gaming-wise but still play video normally.
Any suggestions or places I can read further on the subject? Google searches are what I have been limited to as of right now. I also am looking to spend $200 or so at the most, is it even possible to get a 19" that can game well for that price? Thanks in advance!
Looks like a very nice monitor and the 5ms response time is probably what I need. Just a little too spendy right now, only can find it at Circuit City and it's $339 still. I bookmarked and will keep an eye on prices, thanks for the suggestion and let me know how it works for you if you do end up purchasing it!

The VX922 is probably the best for gaming from the reviews I've read.If your not going wide screen then this would be the one to get.
