WD2500 help

I have an ASUS A8N SLi premium, and a 250GB western digital hard drive.

The problem is, is that I can't get it to show up in "my computer". It shows up in my BIOS, and even in the windows device manager, but I cant see it in "my computer".

Do I need to format it with NTFS before I can see it?

Disk managment

Right Click on drive

Format
